Mohammed AL Khafaji
Vice president
Mohammed has a master’s degree in information technology from Southern Polytechnic University. Mohammed is also a former education specialist at UNHCR in Syria. At ECIC, Mohammed helps shape our vision and develop strategies to address some of the world’s most challenging issues in education.

Hussain Al-Khamis
Director of Public Relations and Community Development
Hussain leads the team responsible for building relationships with the government, private philanthropists, and civil society in support of the organization’s program policies.

Lea Consuegra
Director of communications
Lea Has a master’s in English Literature from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Lea leads the organization’s communications division, on behalf of the foundation’s mission to promote the ultimate learning experience for all children around the world.

Matthew Smith
Education Specialist
His experience focuses on the impacts of creative pedagogic approaches within education in contrast to traditional teaching approaches.

Melissa Tan
Assistant Director of Finance
Melissa is currently pursuing her MBA at Georgia State University. Melissa oversees finance and accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk and assurance, partner organizational effectiveness.

Amal Abdulkarim
Assistant director of marketing and planning
Amal leads many of the organization’s operational functions including events, grants, and contract services.

Maha Leads the organization’s overall strategic opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.
